Mariama Johm is a young entrepreneur and Gambian graduate of The University of The Gambia where she received a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Her desire for food and business inspired the launch of Afri Taste, her food and beverage company that promotes the consumption of healthy and affordable locally produced food products. She hopes to grow the business and provide a market for local agriculture producers, minimize food waste by transforming local produce into value added foods and create employment for other young people.
